Does anyone know where the temp guage is supposed to be on a BN ? The oil guage is at the base of the filter but tractor does not have a temp guage.

where does the guage sensor bolt on.I should have a plug somewhere I guess if I dont have a guage. Head? Block? thanks

The probe goes into the casting for the cooling inlet between the lower radiator hose and the block. Yours may not have been tapped for it, but can be done.

Don't expect the gauge to move much if any at all unless you work the snot out of it. The gauge is in the COLD side of the cooling system and these thermosyphon systems are very efficient and have the capacity to way overcool the engine.

Like the other post say dont expect the guage to show any temp reading those systems are good and the guage just wont read anything.
