In park or moving? More details are needed to better asses your problem. Where is the noise coming from? At first glance I would say low oil pressure in the engine.

If it is coming from injection pump it is the intravance in pump. If from transmision most likely dampener in clutch disc.

I agree, more details are needed on conditions when noise is prevalent. If noise is in neutral and due to clutch tuning (affected by clutch disc damper tuning & other factors), it will be affected (mitigated or eliminated) by pressing on the clutch pedal to the point where pressure is brought to bear on the clutch release fingers by the throwout bearing. If the noise does go away under these conditions, it is nothing to worry about. For any other noise (with the conditions so stated), I'm sure others will have some good insight into causal factors.

I have the same thing with my 686 it has a little rattle only when idling but i think its the through out bearing in front of the ta clutch. When i pull back on the ta the noise goes away. Erik..
