Is it a Super A or Super C plow?

I have a mounted type plow thats either for an A or C, but I dont know which. Is there any way I can tell for sure? I am thinking it could be either a 294 or 295. It's 2-12 with the rear chain mount that hooks to the rocker shaft. No tailwheel and doesnt look like it ever had one. I dont have any of the front attachment point that attaches to the tractor either. The right beam has the number IH516433R1.

If you can locate a guy by the name of Gene Bender, he posts here from time to time. He seems to know the B & A stuff real good.

I don't believe it is a SA plow. I have a SA plow. It is a single bottom unit and the tongue mounting hardware is much different than what is on your plow.

I'd think it be for a C if anything, as it's a two bottom and looks similar to ours. However that plow would be incomplete. At the very least it's missing the rear coulter, but more importantly the mounting hardware for the rear of the tractor is missing. Chains alone wouldn't work, as the plow could swing anywhere. There is no way to control it position-wise and when raised it could even swing into the tires. The front of the plow reaches under the tractor and mounts under the belly to a draw frame that drops down. That drawbar can be raised or lowered to adjust the pitch of the plow. I'm sure there are others who'll know for sure. Markus
