706 slow 3 point lift coming up

I have a 706 that is giving me problems with the 3 point. All the other hydrolics work excellent. new filter and hydro oil. heaviest thing I have lifted so far is a 1200 pound haybale. I can pull the lever all the way up and it takes about 3-4 seconds to respond. then it comes on up all the way, going down is not a problem. doesnt matter if it is cold or warmed up, still got the lag time before it responds. Any ideas

When you try to lift, dead head one of the aux valves and see if you get instant response , I think you will. The problem then will be in the unloading valve. Probably a little crud in the orfice in the unloading piston or a bad o-ring. It is under the large plug right in front of the seat support, held in with a snap ring. Usually the snap ring is broke and is fun to get out.
