Hey guys, Im putting a clutch in a farmall H for a friends dad of mine. He took 2 different tractors and made them into 1. Got the new clutch, pressure plate, throwout & pilot bearings in and tractor back together and My adjustment is waaaay off. Flywheel was cut to spec, new clutch assy matches the old one. The throwout bearing is nowhere near the pressure plate fingers, and I cant match up the old one because it was disintigrated. Its adjusted all the way out on the linkage. Is it possible that the rear end he used had some type of different throwout bearing than what Im used to looking at? This one has me and alot of other people stumped. I need help guys, I gotta get this thing outta my shop. Thanks

Some rebuilt clutches have bolts in them to compress the pressure plate to make installation easier. Look for (I believe) 3 bolts in the pressure plate not associated with the fingers. Remove them. Most HyCapacity Rockford type clutches do not have them, though. Otherwise, the thing has to fit.

Are clutch fingers laying approx parallel to flywheel, should when uncapped. If they are and you have correct bearing and sleeve it has to work.
