I am trying to help my father in law find parts for a 1951 farmall MD. We are in need of a set of rings and one piston. 3 7/8 diameter
Any information on gasket kits or rebuild kits would be appreciated. We found one rebuild kit but it is 2800 dollars. Thanks in advance.
 
Gaskets you can get from your Case IH dealer, rings are available thru Hastings(maybe others but I got mine from them). Maybe try Bates Corp in Indiana for a used piston. Just keep in mind most all parts the the gas start diesels are quite expensive. I am sure others will chime in with more suggestions.
 
Just re- did My Super MD, got most of the parts though CNH. The rings were cheapest though valu built. But if you need one ring set then go though CNH you can order individual rings. Most of the parts for these diesels are only though CNH still, very few parts in the way of aftermarket.

Thanx for the advice. ncdiesel48 the type of piston is a Zoller it has three compression rings and two oil rings 410B0 is the number by the wrist pin
