i had no compression in #3 cyclinder and took head off to have valves done and one of the center bolts holes thru head had a sleeve in it and it is corroded into water jacket were these sleeves original? or were they put in later?..the machinist doesn't know what to do to it what needs to be done?? thanks jim

It's original, pn 351972 R1, Sleeve, cylinder head stud.

hi thanks for reply...does it matter it is corroded into water jacket,, would it leak?? is that the part number of sleeve? i take it, it is pressed in.. he's afraid of cracking head trying to get it out.. do u know the torque lbs of head bolts and crank bolts thanks jim

Yes it will leak. They are pressed in. Machinist should be able to get old one out and install new one.
