Farmall 200 Throttle Operation

My Farmall 200 runs about as good as any, but has one little condition that I would like to correct. At wide open throttle, the engine runs at the right RPM. Governor response is great. Pull the throttle lever back to half way and it is at idle. The lower half of the throttle operation does nothing. Should I be expecting problem with the governor spring??

I have the same condition on my 450. Because the throttle linkage bellcrank throws are so long, I had to adjust mine this way to not pull the governor lever so hard at full throttle. About the bottom third of throttle movement does nothing on mine as well. As long as you're getting the correct high-side RPMs, you're okay.
