IHC D-179 motor??

Hey folks,
is/was this motor used on any models in the States?
I am told that the oilfilter block will fit my smaller tractor and let me use a spinon filter. Can't find the part here.

Hi, if you are refering to the German build Diesel engine D-179, yes it was used in 454,464,484,495 and some industrial models.

Yes. Just need to find a parts source (hopefully with pics) now.

Parts are available in europe.

Hi Dave2, from caseih.com parts for D-179 and D-239 the part number for oil filter head is:
3136047R1.
The D-239 was used in 574,674,684,685,695.
