Tel a depth and draft control question

I have a Farmall 340 with a fast hitch. It has three hydraulic control levers on the right side and to the front of the dash. Outer most lever works the fast hitch. It has a traction (draft??) control handle to the left of the seat. I think the tele a depth system used a control lever and quadrant. Since I don't have a quadrant, I don't think I have tele a depth (I also don't see any linkages between the fast hitch and the control lever). So, is that traction control handle able to do anything with out tele a depth? Is the tele a depth system a handy thing to have?

Advantage of tel-a-depth is that it returns the fast hitch to the original depth, so that you don't need the clamps on the cylinder shaft, thus you can fine tune the depth. I'm not sure if the draft control has to have it or not.

The draft control is strictly mechanical on that model and will work with or with out the teledepth setup. If you look at the cam the draft control lever works on you will see that the farther up you pull the handle the more leverage the draft pulling on the hitch will cause the hitch to raise thus reducing the draft load. (cheaters is what we call draft control).
