After studying the parts manual and a tip from Bob M. I tore into the friction adjustment on my WD-9,removed 4 bolts 3 control rods. I got to the friction spring nut and backed it off a few turns,put it all back together and tried the throttle and "beautiful"I can accelerate and decelerate with ease....
