L. Crawford Removing Radiator on Super M Wide Front

Sorry I missed your post. I had the same problem on our Super M. While I had the adapter plate off the bolster, I went ahead a drilled two holes through the adapter plate under the studs holding the radiator. I made the holes the same size as those in the bolster. A hole saw worked great for making the holes. Also, plumbed the radiator drain so that I could empty it. A 45 street elbow with a six ijnch nipple came right through a haole already in the adapter plate. I can now service everythiong on the radiator without having to remove any front end parts.
