I have a niehbor that has a 1086 he asked me why it would be missing on one cly or it seem like it to him so I looked into it and found on no.5 cly ex.valve rocker arm was pushed over to the side and cracked toward the end of rocker so replaced it, check valve for any seizing and none apparent so adjusted all valves and thought that was it, run great that lasted for roughly 20-25 hr.back to missing again same cly same valve this time it broke the end of pushrod off causing it to miss well long story short it has done it again so I'am asking this time what I should be looking for causing this to happen before I repair it this time TIA Marty

the 1086 has a 414 motor it wasnt un commen for them to brake rocker arms. there is a newer rocker arm assembly that will fit on that motor you can get one used. possibly the push tube broke because of the rocker arm being broke the first time,
