Putting Loader on my M, where do the hyd lines go?

I have a Stanhoist loader that I'm in the middle of putting on my Farmall M. I've noticed there are several pipe fittings coming out of my tractor..each arm has one hose on it. Where do these go?

The drivers side has two options

The passenger side has one

Stick your hose into either of the ports on the driver side. (side with starter) Hope it goes good for ya :)

Cool, so they both go on the starter side?

On my stanhoist loader i connected both of the lines into a T and ran one single line to one of the ports on the starter side...not saying that"s the only way to do it, it"s just what i did...seems to work great. You"ll love having a loader, sure beats a shovel:)

I beg to differ. The cylinder on the starter side connects to the FRONT pipe and the cyclinder in the othe side connects to the only pipe on the other side.

If you are mounting power lift loader (gravity down) such as a #30 or #31 loader, the return hoses both feed into fill pipe.

differ all you want, i just T'd the lines coming from the cylinders up to the port closest to the starter...loader works fine...but you know best:)

Thanks, I'll try this. Does it matter which one?

Any pictures of yours? I love those loaders, not many of them around. My Dad and Uncle had one on what is now my H, back when I was a little kid. I've always wanted one just like it, and finally got one. Just hope it works! I was too young to remember how anything was hooked up.

The front outlet on the starter side and the outler on the other side are T'd inside the pump (Search the archives for a diagram).

I believe you will get better fluid flow (and better performance) if you connect the starter side cyclinder to the front outlet and the other side cyclinder to the one outlet on the other side.

In addition, this setup will look neater. However, it is your tractor.
