just bought this gem and was wondering if anyone might know the year of it no ser tag it says MCcormick international on the hood the guy i got it from said it is a 100 any info would be a help thanks

look on the block, trans, and final drives, there will be a cast code. example would be 8 12 A this would mean Aug. 12 1955. you would be looking for Z, A, or B. at the end Z=54 A=55 B=56. This will tell you when that part was cast after you get a few casting dates you can get an idea when that tractor left the factory.

If casting dates are Z or A, it is a 100.
If casting dates are B, it could be either. Most months of B are probably a 100. Very, very late months of B could be 130.
If casting dates are C or D, it is a 130.
Tractorman is correct, though. The paint scheme is 130. But, that does not prove anything as many 100, 200, 300 and 400 tractors were repainted with white inserts and grills like the newer models.
