I gots" no operator"s manual yet and would appreciate someone informing me the correct tire pressure for fluid loaded plus wheel weight rears: 14.9 - 28 on 13" rims 13 - 28 six ply and 6.00 - 16 eight ply fronts; no loader and by posts I read, it shouldn"t get to be under one. Also, where is the check for hydraulic fluid and capacity is what? Thanks in advance for your input. It ain"t purdy, but neither is the operator.

Rear tires depend on many thingd to assure good traction and good ride. Pressures vary between radial, and bias tires as well. The usual amount ranges from 10 psi on some, to 20 or more on others. The tire should leave a tread print that is full width of the tread bars on hard packed ground. It should have fair wt distribution over the width as well, so adjustment on sight to meet these concepts is probably better than setting it to 16psi. Though that might be a starting point.
Fronts I would start at 25 to 28 and again drive on firm ground to assess the contact patchand rib contact. again adjustment is good. The tires should not bulge out much (bias tires) but not be so hard that they sink in easily. JimN

JimN, thank for your reply. I should have stated they are bias. ~80% tread w/some weather checking. SafeMark, if I recall correctly, is the brand; I never heard of it before. I peeked, and it looks like the hydraulic fluid check point is the same as my Farmall 340. A small bolt requiring a 7/16" wrench, two inches below the left foot rest and three inches ahead of the large bolt w/foot rest support attached. The large hose running from the transmission driven pump panel is pulsing and there is a surging sound. Best check fluid level while coffee brews tomorrow.

I think, but do not know, that the fluid level for the trans is as you describe. the Hydraulic fluid is checked with a plug mounted dipstick, under the seat. (assumes a utility style tractor) Both take Hytrans, but are separate.
