Hydraulic/Trans.oil

I have a 685 CaseIH tractor. What weight hydraulic-transmision oil do I use? What is the IH-train weight? Thank you.

Hytran, or JD hydraulic fluid are what I would use. The only exception I would make is if a fluid was expressly stated as equal to those, and from a manufacturer like Mobil, or Shell. Jim

Its up to you but i wouldnt use any thing but Hytran in a case ih tractor. If you have to buy oil anyway why wouldnt you use whats recomended then you wont have any problems down the road. Erik..
