What is the status of the memorial page for Hugh?
Look to the left under Miscellaneous, and you will see Memorial Pages. Open it up and view the 5 or 6 that are there.

Lets get this done for Hugh. I'll lead or follow.

Not always here everyday so this is the first I heard about Hugh. Seems like I just was reading replies from him not long ago. Tried to look back a few weeks but didn't see anything about him?? I'm sadden to here of his passing as he always seem to be helpful and knew what he was talking about. I learned alot from him even though we never knew each other. I will miss him. Double R

(quoted from post at 18:52:48 01/20/10) It needs to be done. I asked them back when Hugh passed, but havet heard anything.
Feelings might still be a little raw in the Family. It would be a nice thing for the rest of us, but his Kin would have to feel good about it too.Hugh might not have wanted all the fuss. I don't know..

Coax, I also want his family to feel good about any tribute. That is why I have suggested his family be involved in such a tribute; they can even share about their 'Hughie' things we weren't aware of...that personal touch. Anyway, hope I'm not waking anyone this time of the day but, I woke up and am searching the archives for info on my new International 460. Doing an archive search '460 12 volt generator' and searching some results, I came across this w/post from Hugh. The post was informative, opinionated and that last sentence...that is our Hugh; sure miss him...hope you enjoy as I did, almost as good as a warm cup of coffee.
Hughs post wow... that last sentence

John. Can you show the family a couple of the existing pages so they know what we are talking about?

I also requested to create a page on him. In the Miscellaneous section on the right is the memorial page link. If you click on it you can put in a request. I put in a request, if you guys could do it as well maybe it will speed them up in making one.

thanks

No I cant as I dont know any of them. The "them" I was refering to was Kim and Chris. Id have to find the post, but I dont think they would mind, since this was one of Hughs favorite things to do, and they had it posted in his obit. Ill see what I can do, but I dont think I have a way to get in touch with the family.

The moderators should just pin the original thread on Dad's passing to the top of the forum. Mom is getting a tonne of e-mails from farmall folks looking for his advice who are unaware that he is gone.

I would get involved with a memorial page to any extent that I can and I know Mom would like to throw her two cents in.

Right now I'm just trying to keep these old tractors running. No-one is feeling "raw."

I"m so glad someone from Hugh"s family has posted. Please correct me if I"m wrong, it"s Sandy, correct? Here is a link that will get you in touch with Yesterday"s Tractors. Good to here you want to participate in a tribute to your dad and that your mom "would like to throw her two cents in." - Hugh often referred to her as "...my better half". I wish you and your family peace.
as we say, poke here
