M switch box

I am restoring a 51 M and I have seen 2 or three different switch boxes, some with a face-mounted fuse holder, some with the fuse on the light switch and some boxes with different mounting options as they attach to the post. Since this tractor has been converted to 12 volt, does it matter? I plan on using this tractor around for odd jobs instead of making it perfect for shows like some of the old muscle cars I've restored.
Thanks.

If all you want is for it to look nice and work. Use the parts you can find in a way that appeals to you. After that it doesn't really matter. Sam

my late m has the fuse holder mounted like the super m, thru the box cover, my 42 and 49 m both have them inside the box.

Most common one for a 51 M with a regulator mounted on the rear fuel tank support, was a cover with amp gauge hole to top, fush holder below that and the light switch below the fuse holder.
