model???

I have a Farmall but can't figure out what model I have. All I can find is the serial # of 22472J. the casting date on the engine is 12-21-Y. dose any one know the year and or model?????

I am retired from IHC company....But I sure don't know everthing....It sounds to me by your information that you would have a 1954 early Super H Tractor......

A picture is really needed.
If you cannot find the prefix letters befor the stamped in number, it is tough to say (for sure0
The J means it has a Rockford Clutch. (a little heavier duty than the "normal" clutch.) JimN

The "Y" indicates the year 1953, so that particular component was made December 21, 1953.

Stage 2 Super H. Will have a hyd pump in front of the distributer, hyd reservoir under the gas tank, and battery under the seat.
