756 Fast Hitch to 3pt

Can the Fast Hitch on a IH 756 be changed over to a 3 pt hitch? How hard is it? How expensive? Paul

It can be done without to much trouble. If you get the parts from a donor tractor. Remove the fast hitch. the three point will fit into the pins at the bottom of the rear housing, you can use the same lifting arms. There are some companys out there that make a kit. I made my one for a 806 out of bar stock and ball ends I got from tisco.

I changed one of my 806's about 20 years ago. If I can remember correct you drop the fast hitch and will have to change the drawbar support bracket. You can use the same lift rods and have to find some lift arms. Not a big job. Just head to the salvage yard.
