Farmall C touch control problem..

I have been rebuilding my touch control assembly and have ran into a snag. The screen for the pressure regulator valve orfice is shot and the dealer doesn't sell them anymore. I am terrible at soldering and that is only if I could find the brass screen material. Any suggestions?

While I've had a touch control apart for a Super C I'm drawing blanks on the part you're mentioning but that's nothing new. I'm sure getting the brass screen won't be a major problem, I know I've used pieces sold for the tops of sediment bowls when I get pushed on a repair. As to the soldering, if there are any local rad shops or machine shops (especially if they have an old fellow out back that looks like they built the building around him) you might be able to get so help. In short - don't panic, get creative. Sam
