having trouble with governor rods sticking what is best way to get them working smoothly

Fred I had to take mine all apart
sanded with 400 grit paper then put it all back

fred, I read another post today about condensation in govener houseing that froze and caused sticking. On a cub its going to be hard to clean it. you will have to remove it to cleaning. See if you can get some heat on it. see if it any better. I would think once tractor is running it should be fine. oldiron29

First thing is to figure out where it is binding. Adjust out any binding then make sure all pivot points are free and lubricated.
