farmall h gears

I was wondering about the low first gear option in a Farmall H. How much slower was it than regular 1st? What all has to be changed? How hard is it to find one? You know things like that.

You can get the two gears it takes to run any speed you want. How much money is it worth as you will have to take the tranny apart to change them. You cant just change one gear as it takes two.

regular first gear is 2 5/8mph and low low first is 1 3/4mph. Good luck finding one, quite saught after now a days.

Gene,

That is not correct. It takes four individual parts. Three gears and a different countershaft with integral gear. Look it up on caseih.com.
