Small Alternator For H and M

Those alternators sell new for around $80 if you shop around. Used often for $25. $180 is a rip-off. Typically used OEM on Toyota forklifts. Can be 35 or 45 amp. Nippodenso # 100211-4540
$79 new and comes with a big-groove pulley. Can be had also in one-wire hookup if wanted.

I really didn't post the info for the anyone to pay 180.00. Just posted it to let them know there are alternators to fit.

I'll leave it up to the readers to shop around.

More Alternators and John Brillman can answer all questions about them. Give him a call. A really nice person to deal with.
I have bough alot of electrical parts from him.
Alternators

That's not a Delco. Looks like a Chinese clone of a Nippodenso, Hitachi, or Misubishi. Those little alternators have been around since the 80s. Some came standard on some small cars (like the Subaru Justy). 4" diameter makes it very convenient to fit under hood of some tractors.
I think even the IH Cub Cadets use them now.
Since the Chinese starting making them, they've become dirt cheap.

I used a Misubishi one on my H. It cam from a ford probe I think. I picked it up at a local junk yard cheap. It works really good and fits under there nice. Had to make my own mount but got it done for very little money.

alternator.

What is it about that picture that "looks like a clone"?

lol
