farmall 400 12 volt conversioin /kit

I have a 400 farmall that when I got it , had a cobbled to gether charging system. part 6 volt and part 12 volt.I would like to convert to 12 volt completely. Is there a 12 volt conversion kit offered for the 400? If not,could some help me with a step by step and matterials list and diagram of how I can accomplish this. thanks.

The best (Experienced Opinion) is that a Delco 10SI alternator, (three wire setup) is the best and most reliable install. A Hitachi from a early 80s Datsun PU is the same and smaller in form factor.
The original IH brackets can be used, and it is cheap. The included content should do it! Jim (and Bob M)
