Farmall Super M to 400 question

I have a '53 Super M in great shape. I've been wanting to add live hydraulics and power steering. Yesterday I ran across a 400 the owner said was a '54. It's complete and not bad looking for $400. How much of the 400 hydraulics would bolt staight up to the Super M. I know the pump will fit. How about the Hydraulic valves and reservoir, will they bolt up?

The 400 reservoir and valves won't fit a SM because the SM fuel tank will be in the way. You would also have make an adaptor to fit the reservoir to the rear frame lid.

I suppose you could also use the 400 gas tank and brackets but it would be a strange looking tractor. If the 400 is distressed because it has a bad motor, you could put the SM engine in it and have a nice 400.

You could also mount the 400 reservoir and valves on one of the SM axle housings. I have thought about that my self.
