I went out this morning and attempted to start my M. it was a -1 degrees out side and it fired right up I was a happy camper I didnt think it would start that easy. I thought some of you would like to hear that since it is so darn cold!!!! im in south central ks

It is so cold in N. Alabama that the chickens are laying frozen egg custard.
I went out into the barn yesterday morning (11 degrees) and started the SA, SM, SH and 140. Every one of them fired immediately. And, all but the 140 are still 6v. I was very pleased.

I went out and started my H the other day at about 10f started right up with very little choke, then i went to start my jd 60, NADA it was so cold that the starter would engage to the flywheel, so i had to pull start it with the H :) figures haha

MY M didnt need any choke at all. but i 60 jd is a really neat tractor i love the old two cylinder tractors i wish i had 3 or 4 to play with.
