My Super M won"t start. Last time I used it everything was great. While troubleshooting I discovered I had gas in the air intake hose. Anybody have any ideas. I am getting spark from the coil. I assume I have spark at plugs. By myself so couldn"t check at plug and crank at the same time. Suppose my float is stuck and is flooding? Help!

Mark, when did it run last? If it is cold where you are and gas laying in tube I would say it flooded. But I would still check for spark if its been long time sitting clean your point!

It has been sitting since September. It was about 10 degrees here in NE Ks the day I tried to start it. Battery was low, charged it and tried again but no luck. I will try cleaning the points as suggested. Would the extreme cold change the gap enough if it was off a bit when warm? Its about 0 here with 20 mph wind. I might wait a bit. :) Lots of snow so need tractor. I guess its the shovel for now. I will post progress. Thanks for response.

LOL 10 degrees? You gotta do everything about right or it ain't gonna talk to you. Yeah, gas in the pipe would be a symptom of flooding. Caused by too much choking. By that time your plugs are wet and it can't fire. Let it set til a warmer day. Charge your battery and it will likely run again.

My 560 wont start in cold weather if I choke it when I start cranking it. My best luck is if I set the gas about 1/4 and crank it over once or twice and then pull the choke out till it hits then back in 1/2 way.
Glad we didnt get much in snow with this wind. STill had to have the maintainer pull me out thursday morning. was a 100 ft from the main road when a drift high centered my explorer.
Love this Global warming!

Haven't had to use the plow until today!?! That is GREAT!

I don't really use the choke on my SMTA or H when I start them. The SMTA I have to throttle up quite a big, but the H is at about half. Yours sounds flooded to me. I would also charge it and try again tomorrow.
