Farmall H demonstrator????

Somebody is trying to pawn off an IHC "H" in the photo ads section as a Demonstrator model. My understanding is that only the cub, super "A" and "C" were painted white- did the "H" take part in the sales promotion as well? I thought that IHC was selling every "H" & "M" they could make in 1950......
 
His asking price is probably fair enough provided that everything has been done as described, but I would not want it with that cracked and welded torque tube/clutch housing. Plus, All that white paint would need to be stripped off.

It looks kind of ugly to me.
 
Some dealers painted H's and M's to match the other white demos when they went to county fairs, etc., with a display. I know that's what Dad and Grand-dad did in '50. Most farmers, being practical folk, preferred their Farmalls red.
