I"m finishing up a new paint job on a 48 model Suoper A and would like some information on where to place some of the decals. I had to replace the seals in the tranny and brake bands. While I had it apart I thought it would be a good time to clean it up and make it look better. I"ll try to post some pictures of it when I get ready to take her home. Any advise would be apreciated. Thanks, Mike

One of them is the "Be Careful Drive tractor at safe speed when turning....."
The other says "Caution 1. Shields are for your protection....9. For optimum control..."

I'm wondering if one or both go on the gas tank.
I already have the Super A and Farmall ones on. Thanks for the quick responce. Mike

the brake warning one goes on the tank. The other one is a modern decal that was not used during production they just add that in there for safty tips. Get Guy Fays book on the letter series it shows where all the decals are placed, a very good read.

Guy Fay's and Andy Kraushaaar's book is well worth having, if only for being a beautiful book.

To your question . . . the bottom of the PTO shield decal is centered on the gas tank, 19" behind the seam between the hood and the tank. The brake warning decal goes 1/2" forward of that, again on center.
