Farmall H with step up transmission?

I just bought a H with a step up transmission. Is this rare? Were many made? Any and all information would be helpful.
 
They were an add on device, not OEM. Heisler, and M&W companies made them (and others I think) they are not rare, but if working can add 200 to 500 to the value of the tractor. They ad gear ranges between 4th and 5th. More commonly called 9 speeds.
