560 Trans Oil - What type?

This past summer I changed the transmission oil in the 560 gas. I put a new IH hydraulic filter in and new Hy-Tran oil I picked up at Tractor Supply Company (10w-20).

I'm wondering if the oil I put in is a poor grade or the wrong type. The oil is extremely thick and the hydraulics are not working, it just growls when I try to lift the fast hitch.

Should use CaseIH Hytran oil. If you do use farm store oil make sure it states on the label that it meets CIH Hytran specs. How cold is it when it growls? If its -20 any oil will have flow-ability problems. Let the tractor idle 10 minutes or so in bitter cold weather and you'll be good to go.

10W20 is not hytran ,in fact i wonder if it is even hydraulic oil ,cause I've never seen hydraulic oil stated with specs like that
