Hi Everyone, going to look at an 884, 4WD, 2250 loader, no TA. Anything specific I should be looking at?

Thanks,

with the loader check the front casting that bolt to the front of the engine and holds the front axle, they have been know to break, I have put couple in over the years, also check the brakes cause they can be a headache, check park brake as to fix it is a good job, other than that pretty decent tractor, good luck

Good tractor for loader work and hay work as said before check breaks and parking break not costly to fix if you have the shop and the ability. but alot of work

It *should* have a T/A, all 884's did, so as mentioned it must have the shuttle(?) (lever to left of steering wheel whether T/A or shuttle)

Check brakes & parking brake...those would be the big headaches...
