Carb leak on 2424

I happened to check the barn before bedtime tonight and discovered I had a pretty good fuel leak coming from the bottom of the carb on my 2424. The drip is coming off the big screw at the bottom of the carb.

I used the tractor today to plow - nothing unusual. The tank is less than half full, I did put 5 gallons in it a few days ago.

Any ideas what kind of problem I have, and how I can fix it? The barn floor is wood, so I can"t have gas running on it.

Thanks,

Tim

If you can take the nut off use teflon tape on the threads. If you can"t take the nut off ,losen the nut a little and wrap in between using the tape like string. When you tighten the nut it will not leak.
