Keyed ignition wiring

Does anyone have a diagram for wiring a keyed ignition for the Farmall 200? Or, can someone draw one for me? The old ignition has two wires coming from it and they were both on one post which seems to say battery. There are three posts on this ignition.
Thanks

do you have a button start and the key is an on/off switch or does it also act as the starting switch as well ?

We need to know if you have keyed ignition (on/off) or key start, i.e., twist key to activate starter as well as turn on ignition.

Jack:
After re-reading your post, it appears, based on your description of your old switch, you have keyed igniton AND keyed start. Basically, here is how that works:
(1) You are going to have a hot wire from the battery coming in onto the switch. That's one post.
(2) When you turn the key to the "on" position (check with continuity tester) one of the other posts is going to get hot. The wire from that post goes to your coil. That's the second post.
(3) The third post will get hot only when you twist the key to the momentary/start positon. (Again, check with continuity tester.) The wire from that post goes to your solenoid. That's your third post.
You can easily figure out which post is which with a simple continuity tester.
Hope that answers your question.

The key is an on/off switch. I'm attaching a picture of the back. It looks like the push/pull has been abandoned. It is started with the starter switch control rod that is pulled to start the tractor in place of the solenoid. The Cub has a key switch and you turn that on and pull the starter switch control rod to start it. This is the same configuration.

OK. I don't think my picture came through. I am not sure how to do that. We don't have a solenoid so I imagine we only need a 2 pole ignition. Iwill try the picture again.

If that's the case, it sounds like a three-position switch (Off, Run, Start). Follow steps 1 and 2 in Red Mist's post to identify the posts that connect to the battery and to the coil. The third post would be for a solenoid as he described. Since you're using the mechanical lever to activate the starter, you would not hook anything to the third post.
