appraisal on a farmall h with a wide fount end

i have a Farmall h needing restoration and i am trying to get an appraisal i have had several people make offers but i do not know what is a good price for an unrestored piece of equipment like this does anyone know where this kind of information can be found i would appreciate any info at all i am new to restoration of equipment

Go to the photo ads to the left on this site, just search for farmall H and you will get a pretty good idea what they're bringing in your part of the country. PUTTER

If you have people making offers you are ahead of most of us. There are way more tractors for sale than buyers.

Do NOT use advertisments such as the photo ads here as an appraisal unless you intend to own it for a very long time. There are appropriately valued items in ads and I have bought tractors here, but there are also a lot of speculators and they will distort your perception of the tractors worth. Auction results are the best determination of value but even then you have to drop the excessively high and low numbers and then average the rest. You also need to be very honest with yourself when comparing tractors that have sold with what you have in terms of condition and parts/labor required. Search e-bay for completed sales and attend a few auctions in your area. Compare these with the ads and see what the results are. Look at the big bucks items on your tractor (tires for example) and ses how it stacks up against what has actually sold in your region.

I bought a '51 M this fall with a wide front, fenders, aftermarket 3pt, like new tires front and back, live hydraulic pump, but not running. The previous owner passed away and the tractor had been sitting in a shed since 2000. I paid $700 for it.
