Leaking Coil

Where can I buy a good coil for a H that will not leak oil?

Coils are oil-filled for insulation and also the oil transfers heat from the windings to the outer shell for cooling.

They seldom leak unless physically damaged or overheated.

Is this ignition system as-original 6 Volt or a a 12 Volt conversion?

This one is original 6V. I had two 6v coils that leaked immediately.

Any Standard Ignition dealers in your area? Their "Blue Streak" line of ignition parts are as good as any.

NAPA, BWD, Niehoff, etc. should all be reasonably good, as well.

What brand were the "bad news" coils?

Both came from Tractor Supply.

Well see you now know why they leaked you got them from a China dealer and that stuff isn't worth the $$ you spend to buy them. Go to a real tractor dealer or good auto parts store and spend a few more $$ and get something good not something cheap
