Hey guys, I was just comparing the MD to the SMD. What did IH do to raise the compression on the supers? Domed pistons or different heads? Are the heads interchangable? Just curious. Thanks

Simple and clearly easy. The bore was increased, and the flat surfaced head remained the same. Thus there were fewer CCs for the larger swept volume to be compressed into. JimN
