Setting injector presures

I am helpig a kid with his 4H project a IH B414 tractor we are rebuilding the engine. I was wondering what presures to set injectors to?

Hi, I am going by memory from over 40 years ago but I believe it was 2180 psi. If someone else has a different setting then use theirs.

Maybe MJ from UK will give his advice.

I&T manual IH-40 says:

2131 psi to 2205 psi (with pneumatic governor)

2350 psi (for mechanical governor pumps, used engine serial #17289 and up)

Hi, don't set the pressure to high because the pump is not like new. Often when the pressure is in the spec, the engine is hard to start because the used pump. Bernard le mecano Quebec Canada
