Need a M W Turbo kit

Where can I find an M&W Turbo kit for a 706 diesel with the 310 engine?? I called some bone yards, but have had no luck. I need to give a little more power to the old 706.

Thanks for any leads.

Thanks, I have been watching, but have not seen any in the last week or so. If you see one on there let me know.

Thanks again.

The only place you will find one for sure is on another 706. If that 706 is in a farmer's barn, he may not appreciate it when he goes to use it and finds that his turbo has been removed...

Sometimes an enterprising scrapper finds one, removes it, and puts it on Ebay. Be prepared to pay major $$$ for it.

We're talking about a relativley rare add-on that has not been produced in decades. It's not like someone keeps them in stock. One guy in Nebraska may have one today, and another guy in Tennesee may have one tomorrow. You gotta look look look look look. Look everywhere. Expand your junkyard search past the local yellow pages.

I Have a neighbor that took the manifolds and turbo off of a 1066 and put on his 706. Don"t know how tough it would be but at least parts would be easy to find.

I am kinda suprised that worked. The 1066 runs a 414 diesel. I would think the manifolds would be a lot larger than the 310. I will have to do some research on that one. Thanks for the thought.

Do a search for thedieseldude on ebay. he'll have the turbo kit you need about every other month or so. I've had my eye on one but am not ready to pay the 2,000 or so he wants for it. Usually a re-manned m&w with all the hardware plus paperwork to boot. Looks like a good package, but again just too pricey for my needs.

Thats going to be hard to find a kit for one. I have made my own set ups before on a 706 with a 282 motor and a 806. I took the manifold and took the pipe out and cut out a plate and welded it on for the turbo. Used the oil pressure port for oil supply. I don't know anything about the 310 but you will need to find a place for the return oil. I do know one gut that might still have one laying around. He is in Mayfield KY.
