question what is wrong with the ones on the engine now as clean the threads good and then ue them unless you like to spend money.
 
Rebuilding a genny was one of the easiest things I have every done. I started to take it to a shop for rebuild and thought I would give it a try. I went from not really charging to almost pegging my amp meter out a high rpm. Also then did my starter and it was 10 times better afterwards.Kits for both are about $10
 
Some of the bolts I am replacing have some serious problems. I may keep some.

Is there no aftermarket place to buy these head bolts? They seem pretty standard to me.
