Valve Rotators

Has anyone had trouble with valve rotators coming apart? I took the head off my Massey 44 into the machine shop and they said the rotators came apart when they took them off. I am going to pick up the head and parts to inventory. The massey guys never respond with any answers. You helped me with my H last winter.

Like anything else, they wear out. Time for new ones? What's the big deal?

I got a quote of $45 each for new ones.

If you think thats bad try pricing some 'start on gas' diesel parts. It may hurt a bit but at least they're still available. Sam

If you're gonna play with this old stuff, you gotta PAY.

SORRY, but that's the way it is.

(Of course, the NEW stuff ain't cheap to fix, either!)

As the other poster said, be glad parts are still available!
