Aunt Nellie's Bolster

After removing the prior owner's bolster-mounted tool box on my 340U, I noticed a small oval plate rivited to the front bolster. It is stamped Aunt Nellie

Anyone know the source or reason for this tag? I looked in the archives on this site but could not find any info.

The owner named the tractor after a Departed Aunt. JimN

Named my tractor Gert after my Grandmother because the tractor is as stubborn as she is. My Nanny is a fine lady and I respect her as I do all older folks. She is 90 and her mother left us 4 years ago after a long 107 years on this earth. She dipped snuff for 97 years and never had a store bought dress. We still have her singer sewing machine she bought new in 1915 for $5.00. Nothing wrong with naming tractors after people you love or respect.
