Hey guys, I just bought this IH slat plow for 225 bucks and am trying to figure out what type it was. It has a PO#12572 any ideas?

so did you just start by breaking it down and cleaning it up? How did you gho about starting the restoration? I want to start soon.

Start by taking lots of pictures so you know where it all goes. Then start stripping it down to bare parts, sandblasting, and painting. Or take the easy way out and spray on some rust neutralizer, then brush paint everything the appropriate colors. Depends how nice you want it to look when finished.

Little Genious # 8 plow, i restored one several years ago & pulled it in parades behind my restored F-20, hauled it lots of places for parades & shows, was always fun to load & unload.
