Yep, the pto quit spinning on the 300. Took everything out behind the transmission and all was good. (naturally!) Any tips on where to go from here? The obvious is to split in two, but hoping for an easier way out.

If it has a seasonal disconnect, drop the T shaped cover on the bottom of center housing and check connection. From there drop the bathtub shaped cover on bottom and check PTO drive gears. From there check splines and pto shaft at pressure plate. Should locate problem but all will require tear down. Unless the disconnect dogs are welded togeather if rounded and bad.
