Yes when you find the link thats posted you will find lots of young violin players my favorite is the little boy from Germany with Andre Rieu.

Wow. Thanks for the posting. I hadn't heard of them. Great talent. I'm learning to play fiddle in retirement, but can't do the fast and hot stuff yet (maybe never!) but am working on it. Also it sure is fun to play guitar backup to good fiddlers.

Thanks very much for the link. I just managed to avoid at least an hour of office work listening to them. They are terrific. I"m going to try and catch them on RFD-TV this week.

great talent! i play guitar behind 2 and sometimes 3 fiddle players, really enjoy it, have been trying to learn fiddle, the best player we have in our group is 87 years old and can keep playing for 2 to 3 hours, has all those tunes in his head. that is what keeps him young. country/bluegrass and lots of civil war songs. trying to learn all i can off this old guy, he is also a good guitar player
