Tractor is a 1938 with foot brakes, gas manifold, good tires and all parts are appear to be there. Tractor is not running but is not stuck. No cracks or welds and tin is good. Needs paint.
Unfortunately I have no pictures. What is a ballpark value?
Thank you!

Could be a few other variables that would help with the determination of a value.

But I would say that [u:acd4e0376e]F-Dean[/u:acd4e0376e] is pretty accurate on the Value.

Plus if the motor is loose and the manifold and carb is all in good shape, only need a Hot Magneto and that thing will run very easily.

F, Dean If it were running I would say roughly around 2000-2500. Options mean alot on value so you need to list them. oldiron29

I would get the engine running even if you have to spend a few dollars on it as you will recoup that since getting it running will bring more money. If it has a mag, clean the points with some 320 wet or dry and pour in some fresh gas into the gas tank. Then see if you can get it started. Check the engine oil too. Hal

Duanes, from my experience, it depends upon what part of the country you are in. Out west, F-30's seem to be more plentiful, and the prices are lower. Here in Pa, F-30's are a bit hard to come by, and definately bring higher prices. I have not seen a running F-30 in western Pa for less than $2500. I have not yet found a decent restoration one, ie. not running, but all there. The cost for me to drive out to Nebraska, Wyoming, etc. and haul one back puts me back up into the $1800-$2000 + range easily.

My guess without seeing it, and from what you have stated, not running, not stuck. $1000 - $1500 or at least that is what I would pay here in Pa. I would certainly depend upon the condition of what is there, and why it is not running. Points and condenser are cheap. Things inside the engine run the price up

I know this doesn't help very much, but location would say a lot about the price. IMHO.
