F-12 Starter

I've seen some earlier posts that discuss ways to add a starter to an F-12. I'm considering a gear on the pulley shaft or transmission universal, but not sure exactly what type of gear or where to look. Any suggestions?

The only one I ever saw was on the front. The fellow cut the crank off and coupled it to a starter on a board. when he wanted to start the tractor he shuved the unit in by hand.

Ive seen some that were done by mounting a flywheel off a car in the drive shaft between the transmission and engine, than they just rigged up a starter to it.

Doehmke, I was at red power this year and a guy had riged a battery box and plate with starter that worked off the rear PTO looked rear simple.
without altering the tractor much!
