Farmall Super C hitch drop...

Anyone know? Can I increase the rate that the fast hitch lowers on my Super C? It"s much slower than the "raising" function.

yes that is how they are supposed to work. the 'box' infront of the seat/toolbox is a check valve that prevents the hitch from lowing too fast. the reasoning for this was to prevent an implement such as a disk or plow being slammed to hard on the ground.

If it is real slow, you can take the valve apart(in front of the seat)and make sure it is clean and free.

if you are realy unhappy with it you can take that valve out and send it to me Mine didn't have one when I bought it and I have been looking for one for years (when I think about it)
